Ocala - Thomas Joseph Medeiros, 58, passed away on November 2, 2016, due to a very long struggle of multiple illnesses. Born December 6, 1957, to John Victor and Dorothy S. Medeiros in Hollywood, FL. He has resided in Marion County for over 30 years, where he worked as a carpenter in construction, as well as in the tree industry.
Tom is survived by his parents, John and Dorothy Medeiros; sister, Sheila Medeiros-Sexton; daughters, Jennifer Medeiros-Barker (Mike) and Jacquelyn Medeiros-Reyes (David); grandchildren, Mercedes, Angelina, Blake, AJ, and Logan; nephews, John Driver (Stephanie) and Jason Sexton (Amelia); great-nieces/nephews, Hayden, Haley, and Malachi.
He is preceded in death by his brother, John Edward Medeiros; and great-niece, Melody Ann Sexton.
Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
