Thomas Mims

Ocala - Thomas Eugene Mims, 70, passed away on November 25, 2020 in Ocala, Florida. He was born November 22, 1950 in Los Alamos, New Mexico to Horace Avery Mims and Jessie George Mims.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Jessie Mims.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara J. Mims; sons, Robert Eugene Mims (Victoria) and Thomas Mims, Jr. (Nicole); daughter, Terri Ann Sapp (Philip); brother, A.B. Campbell (Mary Ann); and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Countryside Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2020 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Arrangements under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
