Gainesville - Thomas Jefferson Turner, 80, passed away February 10, 2016 at Sylvia's House. Born July 6, 1935 in Manatee County, FL, he moved here from Columbia, SC in 1997. He was a Metal Worker in Manufacturing and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his brother, John L. Blair, Ocklawaha, FL; sister, Clara Bell Moody, Silver Springs, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2016m at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
