Thurlow Dixon Bishop Jr.

Thurlow "Dick" Bishop, age 89, of Ocala, FL passed away on June 24, 2024. He was born on December 3, 1934 to the late Thurlow & Rosa Nettles Bishop. He is survived by his wife Virginia Cates Bishop; daughter Martha Tygrett with husband Kerry; son Bill Bishop with wife Karri. Grandchildren Joshua & Carly Murray, Ryan & Amy Murray and Justin Bishop. Great grandchildren Isaac Murray, Dana Murray & Celeste Murray. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Christine Carroll & Helen Beck, niece Kelly Hughes & nephew Tom Carroll.

Service is scheduled for Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Countryside Funeral Home in Anthony. There will be a visitation at 10:30 AM. Private interment to follow service.
