Valerie Jean Forster

Valerie Jean Forster, 77, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on September 13, 2026, at E.W. & Lucille Cates Hospice House. She was born on March 15, 1949 in Hampton, Virginia a daughter of James and Louise McDaniel.

Valerie was a retired City Clerk, a member of Wyomina Park Baptist Church, and a member Emeritus of Altrusa International of Ocala. She was an active volunteer in the community.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: a daughter, Kate Fink (Roland); sons, Eric Alcock (Susan) and Dan Alcock; a stepson, Kelly Forster; and a stepdaughter, Terri Dymek. She also leaves behind brothers, Wade McDaniel and Keith McDaniel (Sarah), and seven grandchildren: Emily Alcock, Mackenzie Farrar, Nathan Alcock, Mason Alcock, Logan Alcock, Rollie Fink and Kingsley Fink.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Countryside FuneralHome.

Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
