Ocala – Vernon David Goin Jr., 76, passed away tragically April 23, 2016. Born September 1, 1939 in Hillsborough County, FL to Vernon David Goin Sr. and Hazel E. Johnson Goin. He was an electronics technician in the car audio industry.
He is preceded in death by his wife, mother, father, son, Alton Goin and grandparents, James Madison Goin, Lenora Stroble, Thomas I. Johnson and Delena May Crenshaw. He is survived by his sons, Marc W. Rogers, (Maria) of Ocala, Brian Rogers, Ocala, David Goin, Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Patricia Rench “Trish”, of Jacksonville, Tonya Terhart, Ocala; ten grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Vern was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Joint graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016 at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala, FL with Pastor Samuel W. Clements officiating.
