Wayne Jefferson Yawn

Wayne Jefferson Yawn, 85, passed away on June 30, 2026 in Gainesville, Florida. He was born August 30, 1940 in Flemington, Florida to Otis Yawn and Mattie Irene Jones Yawn. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. A man of faith, integrity, and strength, hard work, and love for his family. He touched many lives with his kind heart, generous spirit and unwavering values. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Annette Yawn; 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. 

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2026 at Flemington Baptist Church. A Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow the service at Shiloh Methodist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Countryside Funeral Home.
