Wendy Manno

Wendy Jean (Morrill) Manno, 50, of Citra, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at her beloved home on April 12, 2023. She was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on February 20, 1973, daughter of Louise (Wellman) and the late Robert C. Morrill, Jr.

Wendy grew up in Braintree, Massachusetts and received her BA from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy. She moved to Leesburg, Florida in 2008 and to Citra about one year ago where she fell in love with the peaceful natural beauty of the land. She enjoyed spending time on the water in her boat with family and friends. She loved just taking a ride in her car to explore backroads and see where they led. Wendy loved her dogs, “Echo” and “Shadow,” her goats and especially her pigs “Goose” and “Dixie,” who had just given birth to a litter of 8 piglets. Wendy loved her sons fiercely and always had their backs. She will be deeply missed by family and friends and will always hold a place in our hearts.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons, Drew and Brett Manno, her mother Louise Morrill, two sisters Gretchen (Michael) Kelley and Jennifer (Gerry) Ulland, two brothers Scott (Kristen) Morrill, Christian (Cara) Chandler and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a private memorial ceremony.
