William “Bill” John Del Zotto

May 21, 1942 – May 21, 2025

William “Bill” John Del Zotto, age 83, of Morriston, Florida, passed away on May 21, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1942, in Duluth, Minnesota, a son of William and Mary Del Zotto.

To know Bill was to remember him — because he never walked through a room or a life quietly. Bill left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was a man of remarkable presence — strong in spirit, firm in values, and unwavering in purpose. A relentless worker and natural leader, he was the kind of man people turned to for guidance, support, and example.

A proud and successful businessman, Bill built not just a career, but a legacy — rooted in integrity, discipline, and love. He believed in doing things the right way, one of his favorite phrases was, “Hard work pays off” — a belief he carried not just in business; it was a standard by which he lived and led. That work ethic shaped generations and influenced countless lives, both within his family and in the wider community.

But Bill’s greatest legacy wasn’t just in what he built — it was in how he gave. He was the kind of man who helped people quietly and often, with no need for recognition. Bill had a heart for others and a willingness to act. The number of people he helped throughout his life is impossible to count — but every one of them will never forget his generosity, strength, and guidance.

Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Ramona Magnuson (Rodger) and his parents William and Mary Del Zotto.

He leaves behind a family deeply shaped by his strength and example: his beloved wife, Laura Del Zotto; sons, William Mark Del Zotto (Carla), Christopher Scott Del Zotto, Nicholas Del Zotto (Missy), Philip William Del Zotto (Veronica), Mario Anthony Del Zotto (Alison); daughters, Lori Busch (Bradley), Mary Celeste Del Zotto (Michael), Abigail Del Zotto Ozcel (Blake), Elizabeth Ann Del Zotto (Ryan), and Miella Del Zotto Klonaris (Sasha); and 30 grandchildren — each of whom carry forward a part of the legacy he so passionately built.

A Memorial Mass celebrating Bill’s life will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on May 31st at 12:30 p.m.

Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
