William "Harmon" Hall, age 89, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on December 9, 2025 at his home. He was born on October 23, 1936, in Fort McCoy, Florida, the son of William and Margaret Hall. Harmon served in the US Army from 1956-1959. He retired from the Marion County Road Department and spent his time working in his garden, building furniture and spending time with his beloved family. His favorite place to travel was the mountains of North Carolina. He was a faithful member of Pine United Methodist Church and was instrumental in the reopening of the church in 1985. The fellowship hall was named in his honor in 2023.
Harmon is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Linda Grubbs and Ann Archibald.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his wife, Janice Hall; son, Bennett Hall (Rosa); daughters, Lori Warren (Donald), Teri Putnam (Chris); brothers, Wyman Hall, Thurman Hall, Bill Hall and sisters, Joyce Kunz, Libby Tindal, Cathy Irwin, and Sherry Hill, grandchildren Lukas Warren, Olivia Warren, Suzanne Ghannon, John Ghannon and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Pine United Methodist Church. A time of fellowship with the family will follow the service in the Harmon Hall Fellowship Hall.
