William Ray Harris

William “Will” Ray Harris, 48, passed away at home on August 9, 2025 in Ft. McCoy, Florida. He was born June 11, 1977 in Gainesville, Florida. He worked alongside his father and brother as a sheet metal mechanic for numerous companies including: Wyatt & Fitzgibbons, Ray’s and McCorvey’s. He was an avid Gator football and basketball fan and enjoyed fishing with family and friends.

He is preceded by grandparents; JT Harris and Evelyn Strickland.

He is survived by his parents; Randy Ray and Darlene Harris; Daughter, Frances Harris; sister, Felicia Harris Jones, brother, Chad Bebber, half-sister, Jamie Pennell; grandmother (who helped to raise him), Mary Harris; 5 nieces and nephews; 7 aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Countryside Funeral Home.
