William W. Vance, II.

William W. Vance, II., age 83, of Ft. McCoy, Florida, passed away on November 14, 2025. He was born on September 7, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida, a son of William and Mary Vance. He was a School Teacher for 34 years teaching Algebra and Math. He started in Jacksonville, Florida and finished most of his years in Palatka, Fl. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory; Wife, June; Daughter, Erin Skinner (Chris); step-Daughter, Lisa Henson (Erik) and 2 Granddaughters (Elle and Raelyn); Sister, Marilyn Avery ( Bill); Brother in law, David Warnock; Nephew, Bryant Avery (Mollie) their 2 children Trace and Hayes and Niece; Mary Ellen Schwartz (Doug) their 2 children Vance and Porter.

He loved to hike, ride motorcycles, camp, archery and fish. He was a very kind and loving person who will be missed dearly by his Wife, Family and Friends.

He will be laid to rest on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. at Orange Springs Cemetery.

Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
