Albert Benjamin Raines, Jr

November 22, 1960 ~ April 10, 2021 (age 60)


Ocala - Albert “AB””AL” Benjamin Raines, Jr., 60, passed away April 10, 2021. He was born November 22, 1960, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Albert B. Raines, Sr. and Gussie “Ann” Reese. He moved to Ocala with his family in 1969. 

He graduated from Forest High School in 1979 and join the USAF.

He lived and worked numerous places before coming back to Ocala and getting a job at Car Quest Distribution in 1999 and stayed there until 2017. 


                  His favorite eateries were Darrell’s, The Waffle House and Hooters.


             He enjoyed going to Racetracks, ATV activities near and far, watching Anime and playing video games.

                  He very much enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and his nephews and nieces.

             AB, was very unique when it came to his choice of clothes. He had t-shirts that has made smiles come

            across many of faces with the funny sayings and or pictures on them.         


            He is preceded in death by his parents Albert B Raines, Sr., and Gussie “Ann” Raines (Reese) and by his 

            brother Kenneth “Kenny” David Raines.


            He is survived by his daughters Jamie Bunch (Roger) and Sarah Raines Basler.

            Grandchildren Susana Gomez, Katie Amos, Natalie Gomez, Joshua Gomez, Jacob Gomez, Gavin Bunch,

           and Willow Bunch. His sister Elizabeth Raines-Duran (Jorge). Nephews and Nieces Mark Dawson (Ashley)

           Pamela Harrison (Danny), Zachary Raines, Jordan Raines. Great Nephews and Great Nieces Caylee, Benjamin,       

           Kenzie, Madilynn, Charlotte and Christopher. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

           Albert, AB, Al also known as WIZ is survived by many in the gaming world.


           All though he did not have pets of his own he truly loved Loco Boots and was getting to know Cocoa Loco.


           A Service will be held Saturday May 8th 2021 at 10:00am at The First Christian Church of Ocala, 1908 E Fort King St. Ocala, FL. 34471.

           Reception to follow service.


           In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Christian Church in his memory, or Like Albert, AB,

           Al, WIZ would have done would be to pay it forward and help someone in need out. I truly believe this is         

          what he would have wanted.
