BONNIE M. LEE

Dunnellon, Florida. – Bonnie May Lee, 81, peacefully departed at Shands Hospital on October 1, 2019

Born on December 26, 1937 in Eagle Wisconsin to parents:  Johan and Susan (Weslow) Schmidt.   She was the youngest Daughter of  seven  children.  Spent her childhood living on the family farm in Eagle, Wisconsin.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda Hoferman, Marie Williams and Artbutis Schmidt and many other friends and relatives to include her daughter Patricia Owens Heller (Sifker) to whom passed in 2017.

She is survived by her remaining sister, Pearl Johnson, and her brother’s, Russell Schmidt, and Micheal Schmidt of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

She is survived by her sons, John K. Owens, Rodney C. Owens and Maurice (Eugene Heller) Owens and their sons and daughters.  Also the children’s father, (Charles R. Owens).

She is survived by her step-children of Clarence G. Lee. Three sons and two daughters.  Larry Lee, Tommy Lee, Brent Lee and daughters, Tyan Lee and Tina Lee and all their children.

She is survived by her partner for the last 28 years.   James Young of Dunnellon and his children, Dean Young and wife Kristina Jones, and children.  Sheila Young and children. Donna Young and children

The family would like to thank the compassionate care of Shands Hospital and preparation of Countryside Funeral Home for Internment into Fountain Memorial Park.

A small memorial service will be held at the Fountain Memorial Park of Homosassa, Florida on October 14, 2019, at 1:00pm.
