The Villages - George Thomas Johnson, Jr., 81, passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2020, in The Villages, Fl. He was born on August 16, 1938, to George T. Johnson, Sr. and Rose Evelyn DeLettre in Jacksonville, Florida.  He served in the Air National Guard Reserve, then went on to retired from State Farm Insurance as an underwriter with over 40 years of service.

He is preceded by his sisters, Peggy Johnson and Kitty Johnson Slater.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Johnson; son, George T. Johnson, III (Diana) daughters, Kimberly Brown (Scott) & Melissa Johnson Barron; brother, Terry Johnson; sister, Polly George;6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. George was a wonderful, loving and caring son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed by all.
