John Burke

John Michael Burke, age 64, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on May 1, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on April 14, 1959 in Terre Haute, Indiana a son to the late Arthur and Carolyn Sue (Miller) Burke, Jr.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother James.

John was a United States Air Force veteran and a graduate of Forest Park High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his long time companion Cindy Bishop,  son Jeremy J. (Lisa) Burke,  daughter Fallon (Thomas Mendoza) Burke, sister Jill Meyers, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday May 8, 2023 at Countryside Funeral Home at 12:00 pm with visitation for one hour beforehand.  Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
