Michelina Douglas

Michelina Frances Douglas, age 98, of Ocala, Florida passed away on May 3, 2023 in Monroeville, Alabama.  She was born on April 25, 1925, in Elizabeth, New Jersey a daughter to the late Angelo and Vita Marie (Melchione) Scanelli.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband James, three siblings and daughter, Kathy Gottenstrater .  She was a retired secretary and bookkeeper from the Marion County School Board.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son Robert (Barbara) Douglas, a daughter Elizabeth (Larry) Studstill, six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  A funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday May 13, 2023 at 11:00am at West Marion Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
